First Steps Childbirth and Parenting Classes

Take Those First Steps With Us
We offer “First Steps” – childbirth and parenting classes, so you can be fully prepared when your new baby arrives. In a fun, interactive environment, you’ll receive helpful baby preparation information, parenting tips, and free baby items. We encourage participants to bring a supportive individual during each session. Snacks, drinks, and a giveaway are provided each week.
Registration
All interested participants must have completed an initial consultation at Mosaic Health before registering for our childbirth and parenting classes. We recommend taking these classes during your 6th month of pregnancy. To register, contact us at 618-451-2002 or by email at help@revealmosaic.com.
Free Baby Items
Those who complete all four First Steps classes will receive new and free baby items valued at approximately $450, such as diapers, wipes, onesies, bottles, etc. You will be prepared with the essentials to welcome your new baby home!
Class Schedule
Registered nurses and trained volunteers instruct four two-hour classes. The classes include instruction, discussion, visual aids, and demonstrations.
Granite City Childbirth Classes are Tuesdays (the first 2 Tuesdays of the month) from 6:30 to 8:30 at Central Christian.
Granite City Parenting Classes are Wednesdays (the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of the month) from 6:30 to 8:30 at Central Christian.
Fairview Childbirth Classes are Tuesdays (the first 2 Tuesdays of the month) from 12:30 to 2:30 at the Fairview Heights Office. We do not have parenting classes at our Fairview Heights location.
